Have you ever wondered what makes a star? (and I'm not going to say what kind of star) so; is it as easy as wearing it? does wearing stars make you one...
I guess we'll never know but I wore it anyways because I love it and it's so in this season star earrings, star tights, star shirts and dresses.
I created this comfy chic look and I'm totally in love; by wearing this gorgeous black and white stars printed short dress/long blouse by Zara; since I'm trying all sorts of new out of character trends this season I'm wearing flare jeans paired them with my new thing "Fishnets" but in this case I styled in a different way, I think it looks different than the "red leather" skirt that I posted earlier.
After falling for these shoes I decided they should finish my look and what a finish that is . I told you once and now I'm telling you twice; I will keep trying this all new to me trend, it is in fact so exciting.

So this is super exciting; I'm back and it's a super trendy season, I'm thrilled to share it with you. I know that so far I've been applying my all favorite style black this and black that but, this season sucked me into the other side of maybe my personality..
Do I dare to introduce my new passion? *drum rolls* it's the"MIX & MATCH" ladies I'm telling you it has it kicks *wink wink*, like this beautiful red leather skirt by Zara and yes I do know it has a golden zipper but it made it to a morning day-out #own-your-mornings. As simple as I paired it with "Zara" T-shirt; I also wore on FISHNETS and combat boots, all in one morning, all on one go.
don't know if you agree with me or not but that was a BLAST for me and I'm definitely going to do it again. The cherry on top of my day was the new mirror Prada shades which complimented my look by its amazing reflection of my red skirt.

Beauty is addictive in all its kinds and forms and for me personally nail polish is the thing that makes me tick, I would never go out without perfectly polished nails; ask my friends, they know me too well and they suffer from that colorful, sexy obsession of mine.
There was that ONE time when I was still a college student; a friend came to check on me because I had no nail polish on. (Yup it was one of those off mood days).

And now I have something to say about these girls. They are dangerous

Having to maintain perfect nails with that much polish use on my behalf reflects badly on my natural nails; breakings, splits, roughness are all types of damage that my nails suffered from, not just that but my nails had to endure fake nails and its horrible removal (the worst experience ever, I don’t recommend fake nails to anyone. Hear it from me, I learned it the hard way). Until last Easter when "Essie" sent me a nail rescue kit - Protein base coat, Burgundy nail polish and a matte top coat.

I instantly fell in love with the burgundy nail polish but I didn’t really try the base and top coat; then I took the decision to try to selvage what's rest of my nails; I started using the base coat about 4 months ago, my manicurist and I were astonished by the results and now it's your turn to see my amazing results.

I am not a professional makeup artist, but I do know my skin (and so should you); I know what matches my skin type and tone, I had to try a lot of products to find the ones that really gave me the maximum outcome for a perfect DIY look. So this is the exciting part, right now I'm going to share my list of foundations and their uses.

The list goes from the very first foundation to what am currently using:

1- MAC
When I started applying makeup on regular basis I used MAC; it provides maximum coverage because it's super thick, and because of its thickness I had skin problems not because the product is bad, on the contrary it is so perfect it holds up for long hours and harsh conditions like a wedding or a photoshoot so for me I listed it under "professional foundation" not a daily or regular use (and I never actually found my skin tone color, it's either too light or too dark).

2 - "Guerlain BB cream"
In between the seasons from summer to spring my face is also in between phases of slightly tanned and getting back to my natural skin tone; I use "Guerlien BB cream" I can honestly say it’s a miracle worker, it says on the contour “multi-perfecting makeup” and indeed it is and more. (I don’t really recommend applying foundation every day), since I work 6 days a week, its so unnecessary to go to my office with a perfect skin tone.

3- Giorgio Armani "Maestro"
Then I used this amazingly super thin, silky finish and soft product. Although it provides minimum coverage "Armani" became my favorite. It's so easy to apply AGAIN it's like wrapping your face in silk and it's suitable for regular use; I mainly use two shades (#6.25 , #7 and #8) depending on the season and how tanned I get during the summer.

4- NARS:
Because when summer hits it does so bad that no face should ever bare the heat and a layer or two of makeup I believe that it’s the perfect timing to give your face a break and let it breathe as much as possible during this harsh season; I use NARS tinted moisturizer it keeps my face moisturized with a sheer bronze shadow at the same time.

5- Chanel primer (base):
Mid to end of summer I use this product as I am already perfectly tanned; even though the primer is shimmery it just reflects how glowing and glorious my skin is, yeah..yeah, I know it's just a base but a really good toned one, it's the perfect combination of
Shimmer and coverage for extreme heat conditions as I hate to pile up products on my face during the summer. It is the perfect solution.

6- MAKEUP FOREVER:
As I started to pursue my passion for fashion and started shooting with many makeup artists a lot of them suggested that I try "make up forever HD". It's a magical product that contains a powder base which means a less makeup layer( my face cheered of the suggestion) I am happily using it now and highly satisfied.
But I have to say once I start tanning I will go back to "Armani"

Whoever said that Karma is a B; clearly haven't been to "Karma" the place that made me fall in love with food again.
It is the latest hip place that recently opened at City Stars's new phase by the VIP cinema, it is the PERFECT location to dine and wait for your movie or just eat and enjoy this place's beautiful ambiance.
Karma has a modern/rustic feel with the most comfortable balance between the table settings, lights and to me the music was spot on; up beat yet easy. I know you are now eager to know the most important aspect of a restaurant the "FOOD" I can honestly tell you it is worth each penny you spend (we all do the value of money vs. portion/taste equation ) the portion is ENORMOUS with an impeccable menu that ranges with mouth watering (to a drooling limit lol) starters to salads; succulent main dishes, desserts and creative drinks.
Karma's kitchen offers everything you can think of from international cuisines , in addition to the most delicious Asian Fusion items; dare I say the best Asian in town? (Hell yeah! IT IS...). I can't wait to show and tell my exquisite experience at that exceptional hot, new spot.
So my best friend Shereen is in town for spring break and instead of our boring usual we decided to go somewhere new, worthy of our memories; and perfect it was, we met new people and people we haven't met in years; I believe you can picture the blast from the past/back to the future moments, the evening turned to a late night as time flew by that's how much we were enjoying our evening over delicious food and drinks.

We had the Crab and Smoked Salmon, and the Quinoa salads. The look of the crab and salmon stacked was so beautiful we didnt want to touch it so it stays so beautiful, and the vinaigrette is out of this world. You know what else is out of this world the GLORIOUS "Beef Teriyaki" it is addictive...We also had the humble yet explosive "Cheesy Meatballs" on a stick hehe and we ended the starters round by the adorable"Bao Bao Shrimp" its like a crunchy bundle of joy. You'd think we stopped here nope, we are just getting started;

We had a lot of main dishes to share between us (I can assure you nothing went to waste, we cleaned everything LOL) as Karma is the only restaurant on this area that servers Asian Fusion we decided that it was only fair that we try and know for our selves if they have the guts to pull it through and damn it people did they do.... by miles and miles, the veggie noodles is way beyond amazing it is really different very decadent yet not greasy. As for the "Fried Rice"(yes rice and noodles, please don't judge us lool) all I can say it was the best version of fried rice ever invented with the famous "Sweet and Sour Chicken" and to break the Asian strike you know we thought to add in one more chicken dish just for luck we had "Chicken Cacciatore" served with saute veggies it's perfect to clean your palette along with refreshering cold Mojito, a cocktail of secret ingredients smoothie (Mango, Pineapple and Parsley, shhhh...) the third was a coffee drink and get ready for the dessert round.

For the final round we were treated by two happy options to end our evening; a"Sizzling Sweet potato and Ice Cream" and "Crep Maki". It was an exciting experience for us and we know for fact it won't be our last.

Try new places, try new things...I hope you feel as good as we did and forget your worries in the warm hospitality of their staff.
I would also like to recommend all you seafood lovers out there to try "The Linguine Salmon Pasta" and "Karma Salmon Tornado"; seriously it is spinach STUFFED salmon drizzled with Capri sauce, YUM!

So apparently the fashion industry's latest season launch is a "Pajama" style.

Of course we all do it sometimes on very lazy days but we still pull it off as a bad*** look because yes you're in fact wearing your pajamas but with a cute cardigan, some hot sneakers (my glamours Adidas, my pride and joy) a perfect messy bun or a just out of bed hair and perhaps a Micheal Kors purse or something of that sort &#X1f609

.

BUT the new/improved Pajama concept is actually hot on its own terms; I wanted to know how it feels on real and took the liberty to try out myself, I choose Zara's Pajama collection and I am so glad I did.

The colors and prints were amazing, yet I thought if I'm going to do it I'd better do it right. I went with a very basic color "maroon-ish kind of brown" with elegant large floral print paired it with my nude Valentino heels and an LV purse.

To answer the question "Pajama style, yay or nay?" my end result was much more than I expected; what about you,would you do it?

I have decided to share a year of hair transformation just to try to express my happiness and sorrows through this emotionally stressful experience. As easy and tempting as it may be; we all get this feeling of regret especially after a hair cut…
It usually takes you up by surprise, it takes you so high but then slaps you down two days later.
Here is how my transformation went and what I eventually learned out of it.
It all started when I got so bored of my usual look; long black hair, I have had this look since I was a kid so I thought to myself how about we shake things a little and take it up a notch especially that the straight hair doesn’t really suit me and I fell in love with my waves on long hair but then I thought why don’t I change my hair color; went all crazy with ombre .

It wasn’t easy it took the salon 10 days to be able to fix my hair to the lightest shade they could; my hair was bleached to death then 5 hours later dyed to chocolate brown so they can just be able to lift the color and as I said earlier I loved it for two days until it turned my beautiful precious hair orange I was shocked and very disappointed here is how it looked.

Eventually I finally got the look that made me fall in and out of love with myself; as gorgeous as it looked, naturally like any normal human being I thought it would be okay to wash my hair and it all went downhill from there, my so very orange struggle came back right after one single wash at home. I had to make a choice dye it to maintain the look I loved for a day or two; or try to save what’s left of my beautiful hair…I can honestly tell you not to think about it if you’re not willing to take the risk and deal with all the damage of split ends, weak dry roots and endless trips and money spent on salons.
I hated my life and the thought of hair dressers( I used to fix it everytime I travel to turkey and waste a whole day at the salon instead of being out with my friends enjoying a good day or just shopping)

I decided to go back to my oringinal color BUT I still had a this feeling or need of change and because I knew I had to cut my hair short to retrive what’s left of it; I went a little crazy and the result was BLUE

Gorgeous and loved it but the blue hair had to go.

I chopped half my hair after this nice but terrible attempt of change; I started changing my looks, tried straight hair but didn’t suit me so I tried loose curls and it actually looks amazing with short hair( obviously not natural curls because they attract frizz)

It actually hurts to remember and go through all my photos and share it with you. From my experience I recommend that you keep your natural hair as long as you possibly can it is one of the greatest assets we have.

We saw pearls on a lot of things but this piece of art is beautifully made; the pearls are artistically scattered along a humble grey jeans by "Twist" matching a white one sleeve shirt as crazy and artistic as it can be by "MeYouConpect". finished the look with my golden "Zara" boots.

Fringes, Fringes, Fringes....
I can't get enough of them what's not to love about them? I mean come on ladies they come in all shapes and sizes.
I found a hidden treasure; see as much as I love Egypt's new fascinating fashion scene, I have to mention some of the greats in my hometown "Turkey" it is a local Turkish brand "TWIST" they nurtured my love for fringes but with a Twist *wink, wink*, they provided something slightly different from what we know (the regular layered or not thin fringes) this dress actually is different it is BLACK! yes, black with wide fringes.
This complete look is as simple as it will ever be. I paired it with an equally simple multi-purpose black knee high boots with a little not too high heels (for more frequent uses, I mean it's black you can wear it with whatever...I know beauty means pain but sometimes a gal needs some comfy shoes to manage her journey but still keep her sass and class ) to match my new hair color (if you haven't noticed) finished my look with my favorite Louis Vuitton pochette purse.

So I woke up with the laziest feeling of not having to go to work or do anything productive in that matter; just wanted embrace the weather, I needed something slick, comfy and casual chic. Going thru my closet I found the perfect outfit, its like it was calling me; this outfit is Turkish inspired, both top and bottom are from Turkey.

I wore a teal velvet envelop top by 5in1canpolat (yes they are 5 amazing sisters designing 1 brand) , a mom cut jeans which is so in this season by Aski Butik (it's a concept store) and to finish my super simple look with a BANG! I wore a spiked black heels from Christian Louboutin's latest collection; it's beautiful with the thin leopard line, golden spikes and red sole,
It really was the cherry on top of my outfit and screams feminism.

Remember ladies whenever you get the chance of a lazy morning; take it, dress for it and enjoy it.

You know how when you visit a place and have so much fun; like really enjoy yourself and by the end of the trip you say that you will definitely repeat this experience, well Dubai Mall is that place to me.
Endless stores regular to high-end and the restaurants are just YUM! All of them, they have PF Chang's and Cheesecake Factory people!
Anyways as beautiful as this place was with its glamours dancing fountain; I wore my glamours black and gold jumpsuit by Zara, paired it with a brownish-camel sandals and finished my look with a light blue stones and silver necklace by LW Bijouterie.
It was an awesome day, I highly recommend Dubai for any future plan for any of you.

When I think of Jeans; I think of it as a peace treaty, we all agree on it and agree that it is by far the most favorable and common piece of garment in anyone's wardrobe.
It is a very simple piece but the number of looks it provides is just off the charts; you can dress it up or dress it down as lazy as Garfield on a Monday and for me it is an important item and it takes me so much time to find the perfect pair, you know the ones that hangs just right on the hips, compliments your curves and says a lot by not saying anything at all, yes it is a statement piece especially if you can find the right cut for your body type; well the wait is over people "7 for All Mankind Jeans" have landed in our homeland grounds, Located in an upbeat city "Mohandseen" to match its upbeat products and style. "7 Jeans" didn't just invade Giza but they took Aswan by a storm they managed to make it a whole new experience; I mean the place was amazing and the shoot was incredibly steamy, historical with an upbeat denim twist. I have to say the hotel was also amazing "Sofitel Legend Old Cataract" I'd tell you guys all about it but I preferred the "show than the tell " beautiful scenery that complimented our successfully styled shoot by "Gehad Abdalla" I wish pictures could talk to tell you how comfortable and perfectly fitted "7 Jeans" are.

I know I've been going on and on about how glorious my trip to Dubai was; I know some of you wonder when will it end! lool..well I've got news for you, I am not quite done yet because I still have some outfits rolled down my sleeve.
See every visit is different; I learn and do something new, this time I was privileged to be invited the collection launch of a brand which I personally believe is a big hit "Bambah" (I couldn't really attend due to my tight schedule) so I've decided to present it here on my blog because "Bambah" deserves to be well and solely presented.
I wore a green pencil skirt with a flare, a statement black and white strapless bow-tie crop top (I looked like an elegantly wrapped gift..ehm ehm yes I am a gift thank you very much) paired it with simple Christian Louboutin black heels and black tassels earrings by H&M with my hair down finished the look by a simple day make-up.
Yet again another effortless elegant look.
Turns out a i needed a little "Bambah" to bring some sass to my trip

As my family business dictates an annual visit to the beautiful Dubai; we're used to stay at a certain hotel every time we visit, its located in front of a picture perfect creek, this visit I've decided to make it my picture perfect spot.
As brilliant as this city is; I had the opportunity to meet a professional Colombian photographer "Pipe Yanguas" ( I mean if I didn't get the chance to meet excellence in Dubai, where else would I...right?) I had so much fun during the shoot; I wore a red leather fringe skirt by a Turkish designer - which i believe is a piece of art not just a garment, paired it with my favorite piece this year Susanna Chloe Boots (if you haven't noticed), an off shoulder denim-like top by Asos (Zag Store) and finished my look with a gold chain necklace by H&M.

Once upon a time there was a professional volleyball player back in Turkey (MOI...ehm..ehm); as I moved to Egypt I didn't really get the same opportunity to follow my passion in sports. Over the years I tried joining a couple of well known Gyms/training facilities but it was a major disappointment and a waste of money; fitness instructors were either looking for fame or looking for money (jamming the classes and paying zero attention to the members) and because of that I had a very bad injury I couldn't walk for a week...I didn't get my fitness ever after....THE END.

I'm kidding lol; I found a place that actually took care of me and my needs, instructors actually look out for you with having to pay them to greet you! This place is not just a gym or a workout place to me...it's home:) it's FITBOX.
As I joined I wanted to start something new (it's the Victoria's secret models workout) "Boxing" and it was a great decision for toning and shaping the body; I started with an even greater instructor "Coach Yassin" I strongly recommend him to train anyone who's interested in this kind of workout.
